Thai Beef Dumpling with Peanut dipping Sauce

1 Lb of ground beef

2 oz of grated ginger

1 Medium onion minced

2 Tbl chopped Cilantro

2 Tbl of soy sauce

20 Chinese wonton wrappers

Method

  • In a large skillet add Oil and ginger and o
  • Sautéed for 2 mins until onions are tender
  • Add beef and cook for an additional 5 mins or until all liquid have evaporated
  • Add chopped cilantro and soy sauce let cool

To make dumpling

  • Place one wrapper on a flat surface and brush with egg wash
  • Place 1 teaspoon of mixture in the center and fold in half
  • Squeeze edges together to create a tight seal
  • Dumplings can be fried in a 350 degree oil until golden brown or baked in 350 degree oven until golden brown (if baking brush with egg wash before baking)

Peanut Sauce

1 cup milk

2 Tbl peanut butter

Splash of hot sauce

Method

  • In sauce pot add milk and bring to simmer
  • Whisk in peanut butter
  • Season with hot sauce
