Relish Caterers + Event Planning had the pleasure of catering a “Girl’s Night Out” as part of Advertising Week, hosted by IPSOS for Girls Inc at the PORTS 1961 showroom overlooking the Hudson river.
The night began with Relish’s signature hors d’oeuvres including grilled flat bread pizza with roasted mushroom and truffle aioli, salmon tartare with sweet red onion crème fraiche on a crispy wonton, petit chicken cordon blue with prosciutto & havarti dill in panko crust, and petite sirloin burgers on soft brioche buns with aged cheddar, roasted tomato & ancho chili cream.
After the PORTS 1961 fashion show, Chef Arvin Dhansew prepared a seated dinner of an organic baby green salad, followed by guests’ choice of grilled salmon steak with braised barlotle beans, wilted watercress, and citrus beurre blanc or an herb grilled chicken paillard with baby arugula, shaved parmesan and citrus vinaigrette with roasted potatoes.
The night concluded with a special appearance by Icona Pop and passed sweets and family style desserts. Relish’s house-made ho hos were the hit of the night.
